Cloud Computing is a developing phenomenon in the developing countries, especially the use of cloud computing in public sector such as healthcare, education and communication industries. Likewise, mobile devices such as smart phones and iPads are increasingly becoming an essential part of people's life as it provides the most convenient communication tools which is not bounded by time and place. However, mobile devices have limitation in their resources such as battery life, storage and bandwidth. Cloud computing enables users to utilise resources in an on-demand fashion at low cost. Thus, mobile applications can be provisioned and released with the less effort of management and without interaction with service providers. It is vital to integrate the features of cloud computing into the mobile environment in order to bring new services for mobile users to take full advantages of both cloud and mobile technologies. This poster aims to presents the challenges associated with deploying cloud computing in developing countries, specifically for the health sector. A conceptual framework that integrates the features of cloud computing and mobile devices to run health application is proposed with a view outlining the future prospects.
