Conference Theme

At a general level, the conference is concerned with any advances in the fields of networking and telecommunications technologies. In addition, each year will adopt an overall theme to set the scene for the event and provide the basis for the keynote plenary sessions. The main theme for the 1998 conference is Internet and World Wide Web Technologies, reflecting both their current popularity and their importance in directing future research in the networking arena.

The Technical Programme consists of ten plenary sessions, devoted to key topics in the networking field. These sessions include invited talks given by leading experts, as well as presentations based upon refereed papers selected by the International Programme Committee.

Topics

The conference encompasses a broad range of areas within the networks and telecommunications fields. The technical sessions are grouped under the following main topics :
