Dr Athanasios Tsokanos is a former Lecturer in computer networks at Plymouth University. Before joining the CSCAN research centre he worked as an engineer for JA.NET UK which is the network that connects all the universities and research institutions in the UK. In JA.NET he was the project manager for a project in the area of GMPLS (Generalized Multi Protocol Label Switching). He has certificates in networking from Juniper Networks.
